The new Newsweek featured an article about the growth in popularity in American Workwear, a style of dressing that a lot of us at the shops respect and look to for ideas.  The American Workwear look, takes inspiration from hunting gear, construction and workwear, while mixing in classics like Wayfarers and Top-Siders.  Brands such as Woolrich, Red Wing, and Penfield, have been making classic American clothing for decades, however only recently have they seen a surge in popularity.  Collaborations with more contemporary brands such as Nike and Stussy, along with strong popularity in overseas markets have reignited interest in American Workwear.  It certainly doesn’t hurt the economy to support American brands either!
